Four things to look at before you hire anyone.
- Do they quote before loading. The number should be agreed before the first item goes on the trailer, and it should not move unless the job does.
- Do they tell you what they cannot take. Paint, oil, fuel and chemicals need a different route. A hauler who takes everything without a word is not handling it properly.
- Will they show insurance. Ask for the certificate before anyone is in your house. We will send ours.
- Do they say where the load goes. Permitted landfill, scrap yard, e-waste recycler. Anyone who cannot answer in a sentence has a reason.
