Worth Knowing
Some of it cannot legally go on the trailer
A garage cleanout is where everything awkward surfaces at once: half-used paint, motor oil, old fuel, pesticides, car batteries and the box of unlabelled chemicals at the back of a shelf.
None of that can be loaded and hauled with household junk. It has to go to a facility set up to take it, and we will tell you which items need that route before the trailer arrives.
A hauler who takes all of it without asking is either absorbing the cost of handling it properly or is not handling it properly at all. It is a fair thing to establish before the trailer arrives.
